The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) stated, “The one who is proficient in the recitation of the Quran will be with the honorable and obedient scribes (angels), and he who recites the Quran and finds it difficult to recite, doing his best to recite it in the best way possible, will have a double reward” (Sahih Bukhari). Beautifying one’s recitation is part of striving for proficiency and excellence in reciting the Quran.
Emotional Impact
The Prophet (PBUH) said, “Indeed, the one who does not have the Quran inside him (his heart), is like the ruined house” (Tirmidhi). A beautiful recitation can deeply affect the hearts and minds of both the reciter and listeners, fostering a stronger connection to the Quran.
